Welcome to Senior Safety Guide

Welcome to Senior Safety Guide

Hello, and thank you for visiting our website.

We’re Michael and Avril Collinson — born in 1943

and 1939 and together we’ve spent more than

eight decades navigating life’s many chapters,

from raising a family to adapting to the changing

world around us.

Now in our 80s, we’ve come to truly appreciate the

importance of safety, independence, and peace of

mind as we grow older.

This website was created to share what we’ve

learned and to help others like us — or those

caring for older loved ones find clear, trustworthy

advice on staying safe at home and outdoors.

Whether you’re looking for tips on preventing falls,

choosing mobility aids, or making your home safer,

 you’ll find practical, experience-based guidance

here.

We’re not tech experts or salespeople — just a

couple who care deeply about helping others stay

safe and confident in daily life.

If something here helps even one person feel safer,

 it’s all been worth it.

Warm wishes,
Michael & Avril Collinson
